I'M DONE!

"I'm DONE!"

"What is she done with?" You may ask. Let me show you this little graphic, and it will answer your question:

I won. I did it.

*collapses*

This has had got to be the most exhausting month of my life. But I have never felt so accomplished. Never.
Remember in this post that I mentioned my word goal would be 20,000, or maybe even 15,000 thousand if I had to lower it?

That was my original goal, but from the beginning I knew I wanted to do the 50,000. So I tried for it. And guess what?

I won.

So, there you have it. I did NaNoWriMo. I  finished NaNoWriMo.
Was it hard?
Absolutely.
Will I do it again?
Without a doubt.

How far away are you from finishing?

If you have finished...

CONGRATULATIONS!

I was rewriting my novel, Faith. I think it's finally starting to come together. :)
      What were you working on?

  2. Congratulations! My goal was only 25k because I've been really busy, but I made it! I want to write 50k in one month sometime, though. Maybe in July for Camp NaNo because I won't be as busy then.

    1. Congratulations to you! That's still a lot to add to a story. :)
Ooh! Maybe we can be in the same cabin? I love Camp!

    2. Yes, maybe we can be in the same cabin! I didn't have a cabin last year (I only did July because I didn't know about it before April) because I wanted to be with people that I kind of knew instead of people that I just didn't know at all.

    3. That would be awesome. :)
Last July I got a bunch of writers together whom I knew from different blogs, so it worked out knowing that they wouldn't say anything bad on the message board.

  3. *dances* I'm so happy for you! *cheers* *throws party* And I find it amazing that you managed to do 50k. The main reason I did 30k is because I didn't have enough material for a 50k. But we'll see how that goes with the second draft. ;)

Seriously, it's still really impressive that you did 30k. 1,000 words a day is a /lot/. *throws party in your honor* :)
Keep me updated with your progress!

I'm glad too. It's quite a relief, even though it was an incredible experience.
*high-five* AWESOME, MICKAYLA! Fantastic job. :D
*shakes head* No... Maybe sometime in the next few years I'll get one when the price goes down, but I'll just have to live with the certificate taped on my wall. :D
I will definitely be there next year!

    2. Yea, this morning I woke up and was like "I don't have to write anything today if I don't want to. Awesome!!" =D
Yea, it was pretty expensive but I decided to splurge and get it cause it was so awesome. =D

    3. Hehe. I am doing the 100 for 100 challenge on Go Teen Writers, so I still have to do my 100 words a day, but that is nothing compared to what I had to do in November.
      It does look awesome. :D

    1. Thank you very much!
I, too, have respect for all of those who achieved it. It is a pretty daunting goal.
Do you have plan on doing it in the future?

  6. Congradulations Katie! Unlike you I didn't write that much this month, and that also goes to the 100 for 100 challenge, I am failing. Miserably. Again, congrats!

I believe that you could've done it! Though, it is hard with a busy schedule, which I know you have.
Are you going to do Camp NaNoWriMo in July?
