In regards to the title of the post, any help with finding the missing days of 2014 would be much appreciated. This year went way too fast. Granted, I say that every year, but it seems to be true.
Despite the fact that the year seemed to zip by, I'm amazed at how many things have happened. I started writing. I finished my first novel. I did NaNoWriMo. I started a blog. I had wonderful times with family and friends. I met some absolutely amazing writing buddies over Go Teen Writers, and I had a wonderful cabin in Camp NaNoWriMo.
I am so blessed for all the opportunities that I had. Thank you for reading, fellow writers!
Byeeeee!

What was your favorite memory of this year?
My favorite memory is of meeting a very special friend in person for the first time!
ReplyDeleteAww. :D
DeleteMy favorite memory from this year... Hmm... Probably coming home from living in the mission field of Kenya for 6 months! :D
ReplyDeleteThat sounds super exciting.
DeleteKenya? Wow. Do you have a favorite memory while working in the mission field over there?
My favorite definitely would have to be when we got off the plane after three years in Papua and seeing our family for the first time since! It was a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteAww! I can imagine that it would be a lot of fun. :D How long did you stay for?
DeleteThis year did go by really fast, and I, too, say that every year. Time in general just goes by way too fast. Oh gosh. Asking me to pick my favorite memory is like asking me to pick my favorite book. I have so many good memories I couldn't possibly choose. Among countless others are starting a blog, finishing my first novel, going to my Grandma's for Christmas, the whole cross country season, getting Rookie of the Year in cross country, meeting so many other bloggers like me, etc. The good memories go on and on.
ReplyDeleteNotice how I didn't put my favorite memory on the post? That's because I have way too many to choose from. :p
DeleteI'm glad your year was awesome. :D
My favorite memory would probably be doing a creative writing class over the summer. I made new friends, and it was all just insanity and awesomeness. I'm surprised our teacher didn't call a mental hospital. 0.o Anyway, happy New Year, Katie dear. =D
ReplyDeleteOoh... That sounds like a lot of fun. I've always wanted to do a creative writing class of some sort, but haven't been able to find one.
DeleteHappy New Year, Victoria! :)
It was. =D I took the class from the online school I take classes from, so you might want to check out if there's any online creative writing classes you can afford. =)
DeleteOoh, really? What's the class called?
DeleteWell, the online school is The Potter's School, (http://www.pottersschool.org/) and the class I took is Summer Creative Writing. There's also a school-year-long Creative Writing class, which I haven't taken, but I know is really good.
